About us
We are a documentary theater company and we have three lines of work: an artistic line, based on the research and search for a unique language through a rigorous documentary process and a staging that is born from the creation of our own plays. Before the creation of each show, a process of research and interviews with the people involved in the subject matter to be documented is carried out. From these words, the dramatic texts that form the basis of the staging are constructed. A pedagogical line, composed of several activities aimed at students and professionals of the performing arts, young people, adults and special groups in which the theatrical tool is used as an element of conflict transformation and encounter with the Other, based on the delegitimization of violence and the promotion of a culture of peace and equality. And an audiovisual documentary line, which brings together our research work and the interview processes that are the driving force behind the company’s productions in an audiovisual format. This audiovisual material takes an artistic form that brings to the general public diverse realities and the passage of the company through unconventional spaces where the theater has come to transform. We use the audiovisual documentary language to expand and share our findings. These are materials that can be seen by anyone with internet access, but also serve as a tool for reflection within educational centers and in viewing spaces for specific and special groups.
Staging proposals are characterised by careful aesthetics and the physical work of actors, all of which support a set of shows where the spoken word carries the weight.
The aforementioned rigorous documental research, which is the foundation of the creative processes, allow the shows to travel from the concrete to the universal. The dichotomy of good and evil is overcome, by shifting the focus of the narrative to the dissidents within their own groups, thus rupturing the current predominant narratives.
Investment in culture
We collaborate with companies, associations, and public institutions that support our work in developing our activities, whether in general or to carry out a specific project.
