Embers of violence and peace is the name given to the trilogy of documentary theater that we have composed about the violence in the Basque Country and its peace process from our company during ten years (2009-2019) It consists of the plays: Proyecto 43-2 (Project 43-2, 2012), La mirada del otro (The other’s gaze, 2015) and Viaje al fin de la noche (Journey to the end of the night, 2017). This triple program is unique in Spain and portrays, through three very different plays and stagings, the peace process in our country.

The play was written by María San Miguel and Julio Provencio. It is directed by Xiqui Rodríguez and stars Aurora Herrero, Patricia Estremera, Alfonso Mendiguchía, Pablo Rodríguez and María San Miguel.
